Personal security is very important to the 'Open up' project, and as a result 'Open up' uses local storage. This means that any data is only accessible to the site while that page is in session. As soon as the tab is refreshed, changed, or exited by the user, all data is deleted with it. With this system, the data remains in the control and posession of the user. 'Open up' does not store or track any user information.

How do I use the "Falsify?" check box?
http://www.openup/this-is-the-link-to-this-page/falsify-option-instructions.com
This option has been implemented as an edge-case if you are using Location History and Search History from too different sources. This is because the Locations visualisation is determined by the timestamps on the data, and if the two data sets are from different sources their timestamps have the potential to be wildly different. To not miss out on the chance to interact with data, simply select this option before submiting the data. This will create false timestamps on the data so there is still a chance for crossovers.
Aesthetics
http://www.openup/this-is-the-link-to-this-page/aesthetics.com
To create a seamless experience transitioning between Google and Open up, this site borrows the already established aesthetics from Google. This creates a smoother, uninterupted user experience while using this online service.
Platforms compatibility
http://www.openup/this-is-the-link-to-this-page/platforms.com
This service is primarily developed for laptop and desktop use. As this site works with personal data and requires a multiple step process of downloading and uploading files, this service has been developed for platforms that allow the user to do these at ease.
